About Jason
Jason Jacob is a Senior Programmer and Systems Analyst in the KCR informatics team. He contributes to the development and maintenance of the software systems that support Kentucky's cancer surveillance program, bringing strong technical skills and domain expertise in public health informatics.
Jason's work includes implementing new features for KCR data systems, maintaining existing applications, and ensuring integrations with national cancer surveillance networks operate reliably. He has contributed to projects spanning electronic pathology reporting, data quality automation, and web-based cancer statistics tools.
He is committed to applying software engineering best practices to the public health mission of the Kentucky Cancer Registry.
