About Chaney
Chaney Blu is a Senior Programmer and Systems Analyst in the KCR Cancer Informatics division. In this role, she contributes to the design, development, and maintenance of the software systems that power Kentucky's statewide cancer surveillance infrastructure.
Her work spans the full software development lifecycle — from requirements analysis and architecture to implementation, testing, and deployment. She collaborates closely with registry staff, epidemiologists, and partner agencies to ensure that KCR's data systems meet the evolving needs of cancer surveillance and public health reporting.
Chaney brings expertise in modern software engineering practices and a strong commitment to data quality and system reliability.
