Clay Campbell serves as Technical Support Specialist for the Kentucky Cancer Registry, providing front-line assistance to the more than 120 facilities across Kentucky that report cancer data to KCR.
His responsibilities include troubleshooting software issues, guiding reporting facilities through data submission processes, and coordinating software updates and training. He works closely with hospital cancer registrars, physicians' offices, and pathology labs to resolve technical barriers to timely and accurate cancer reporting.
Clay's role is essential to maintaining the completeness and timeliness of Kentucky's cancer surveillance data. He serves as a critical liaison between KCR's informatics infrastructure and the clinical community that depends on it.
